Certain relative clauses 28 Haziran 2013

Yesterday, I heard someone say in English, “I can’t meet you on Tuesday and Wednesday as these are my worked on days”.  ‘Worked on days’ seemed strange and  it suddenly reminded me of something I had read in ‘Learner English’ by Michael Swan about relative clauses in English.  When I got home I looked for the relevant section of the book about Turkish speakers and relative clauses.  In this section he explains that in Turkish some relative clauses work as an adjective before the noun.  The examples he gave are:

a-      Çalıştığmız günler...

b-      Çalıştığımız mesele...

c-       Çalıştığımız yer...

So my challenge for you today, is how would you translate these into English?  Have a go at today’s task and tomorrow I will give you the answers.
